DTV KIT (Drain Tempering Kit)
The Drain Tempering Kit is an optional accessory meant to be integrated into one of Electro-Steam’s electric steam generator systems. It is designed to temper (cool) the hot discharge (effluent) from the generator to meet plumbing code requirements and prevent damage to drain piping.
MAFD (Motorized Automatic Flush And Drain)
Opens the water inlet solenoid and actuated drain valve for 3 minutes on start-up to allow solids in the water and vessel to drain from the unit reducing scale build-up in the pressure vessel. (not a substitute for regular maintenance and blow-downs.)
Water Level Float (40kw+)
An option that replaces the probe type water level sensors on units 40kW or larger.
5 Micron Water Filter
Filters particles of 5 microns or greater from the incoming feed water source. Helps reduce solids build-up in the pressure vessel.
Manual Reset Low Water
Changes the automatic low water reset to a manual version that requires an operator to physically reset the unit with a button press on the generator.
Single Phase (30kw & Lower)
A no-charge option that allows the unit to operate on a single-phase voltage of 208V or greater electrical supply, when 3 phase isn’t available.
Single Service Transformer
- 208, 240, 440 Or 480 Transformer
- 380, 400, 415 Transformer
- 550, 575, 600 Transformer
Steps down a portion of the 3 phase voltage to run the 120v control circuit on the boiler. This replaces the need to have a separate 120v supply to the unit.
Condensate Return Tank For (H) (LB)
Condensate Return Tank For (L) (LB)
These float modulated holding tanks are unit mounted, pre-plumbed to the water inlet and calibrated to allow returned condensate to be cooled and mixed with fresh feedwater, preserving resources and making the unit more efficient to operate. Pumps or plumbing from the process to the tank are not included.
Dual Operating Pressures
This option allows the operator of the steam generator to toggle between two set operating pressures without having to manually adjust the unit’s pressure controls. This is an option that is best for applications that require different pressures during operation. A single toggle or button changes the pressure setting on demand.
Step Sequencer (40kw And Above)
Delays the all-on, all-off engagement of the unit’s heating elements and breaks the sequence down into steps to lessen the chances of breaker tripping when the unit builds operating pressure. Steps are available with from 2 steps to 5 steps depending on the kW of the unit and the number of elements each unit uses.
Remote On/off
Allows the operator to connect to a relay in the electrical panel to facilitate remote operation of the unit from a different location such as a control room or workstation.
Available in 24v DC or 120v AC
Remote Indicator Signal/Alarm Signal
Sends a signal via relay in the electrical panel to a remote location to alert operators to a variety of conditions. Available in 24v DC or 120v AC
Available for:
- Boiler Ready Signal
- Low water condition
- Over pressure condition
- Emergency stop
